Proven, Reliable Coverage

We have been successful in attracting and retaining high-quality intensivists. Our 95 percent physician retention rate allows us to both generate and sustain quality ICU services.

We also offer a national network of subspecialists available for virtual provider-to-provider consults. Our tele-intensivist services are available around the clock, providing ICU and inpatient clinicians advice on advanced critical care decisions and ensuring patients get the care they need exactly when they need it.

Maximize the Value of Critical Care Services

Our dyad management structure of clinical and operational leadership delivers a boost to quality and efficiency metrics, increasing revenue under quality reimbursement models. Our critical care clinicians specialize in tackling QA improvement measures, particularly those related to acute stroke, septic shock mortality, overall ICU mortality and care complications related to hospital-acquired infections.

Efficiency Means More Patient Care

In the rise of value-based care, efficiency is becoming a key priority. Our services routinely lower length of stay and reduce vent care days, driving better bed utilization and allowing our physicians to care for more patients with improved efficiency and safety.

Our partner facilities routinely report an average throughput improvement of 20%.

The Right Focus | 1:02

A patient-centric culture of care demands a focus on core quality measures across services lines and hospital departments. Our focus on data utilization drives improvement of those core measures.

Our Expertise in Action

Emergency department (E.D.) staff at St. Mary's Medical Center near Kansas City, Missouri, struggled to cope with increased patient volumes and falling patient satisfaction scores. The hospital’s existing systems were ill-equipped to accommodate all of the incoming patients, which resulted in high average length of stay (ALOS) and caused many patients to leave the E.D. before they had received treatment.

Utilizing a three-day Lean process improvement event, Envision Physician Services worked with the hospital to improve patient flow in the E.D. and to standardize key E.D. processes, leading to a 30 percent reduction in ALOS and an 88 percent reduction in left-without-being-seen (LWBS) rates.
