Why DART?

Our Envision team leaders, disaster assistance response experts and clinicians are often the first ones on the frontlines when local resources are depleted, disrupted or fatigued, and when the demand for healthcare resources exceeds supply in the market.

Envision Physician Services is passionate about providing quality, compassionate community-based care when and where patients need it most – even under the most difficult circumstances. That’s why we have built a roster of clinicians who are ready to provide care in communities located across the United States whenever disaster strikes.

We work directly with our hospital partners to make sure our clinicians have the resources they need, including personal protective equipment (PPE). In just one week during the coronavirus pandemic, for example, Envision Physician Services spent $5 million to supply our clinicians with the PPE they needed to serve COVID hotspot communities.

Envision has learned valuable lessons about how to work with facilities, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to make sure community leaders can keep serving patients – during a pandemic or any other disaster. On the COVID-19 frontlines, for example, we implemented virtual health technology “SightCall” that protects both clinicians and patients by providing e-triage to accurately assess and differentiate patients’ circumstances and need for care.
