Envision Physician Services Emergency Medicine clinicians were recently honored for their commitment to education and community service at the 2019 University of Central Florida College of Medicine faculty awards.


Latha Ganti, M.D., M.S., MBA, FACEP, was honored with the Educational Leadership Award, given to curricular leaders who have demonstrated successful implementation of courses or curricula. Dr. Ganti, Associate Medical Director, Clinical Research and Scientific Intelligence for Envision, is currently Vice Chair for Research and Academic Affairs and Research Fellowship Director at UCF.


Director of EMS Education at UCF, Ayanna Walker, M.D., received the school’s Innovative Teaching Award. Dr. Walker was honored for employing novel and innovative teaching methods to achieve success in learning.



Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine Tracy McIntosh, M.D., was presented with the Early Career Education Award, recognizing excellence in faculty who are in the first five years of their career.



Michelle Wallen, D.O., was also honored with the Faculty Community Service Award, given to a member of the faculty whose contributions to the local, regional and global community exemplify a commitment to improving the welfare of all people.
